Creative Manager/Art Director

Job Overview: The Creative Manager/Art Director is responsible for the visual style of all marketing related materials as well as and not limited to visual campaigns development. They create the overall design and inspire graphic designers who develop artwork or layouts. This role requires a unique blend of creativity and leadership skills to oversee the artistic development of marketing and promotional pieces, including print, online, mobile, television, and radio advertisements, as well as collateral materials and internal and external corporate publications.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and Direct Artistic Projects: Conceptualize and implement the visual style and aesthetic for various creative projects. Oversee the artistic design of advertisements and print materials, as well as film, television, and video productions.
  2. Lead Creative Teams: Manage a team of Graphic designers, content writers & other staff involved in the design process.
  3. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with the communication team, digital marketing team & webs development team to develop and execute creative strategies that meet business objectives.
  4. Supervise Design Processes: Oversee the creative process from concept to completion, ensuring a high level of quality in all visual elements.
  5. Schedule Management: Responsible for managing timelines for artistic and creative projects.
  6. Stay Abreast of Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in art, design, and technology to ensure the company remains ahead in the creative industry.
  7. Review and Approve Artwork: Critique and approve designs, artwork, photography, and graphics developed by staff members.
  8. Provide Artistic Direction: Guide and mentor creative staff, providing direction and feedback.
  9. Ensure Brand Consistency: Ensure all visual communications and brand standards are met across various media outlets.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in art, graphic design, marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years proven experience as an Art Director or similar role in a reputable advertising agency.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing high-end digital design skills and creative thinking.
  • Exceptional ability in graphic design, typography, and layout.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, photoshop & adobe illustrator
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and justify concepts team members.
  • Experience with strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development, and creative execution.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Working Conditions:
  • Primarily in an office environment, and might require working hours beyond the standard working schedule.
  • May require travel to client locations or production sites.
